Privacy policy: how does FPL Template use your data?

FPL Template has no accounts and sets no cookies of its own, but Google Analytics and Google AdSense do. This page explains what they and our servers collect, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your data?

FPL Template runs fpltemplate.com and is responsible for the data described here. Contact us at [email protected].

What does Google Analytics collect?

Google Analytics loads on every page and sets its cookies as the page loads. It records the pages you visit, how you reached them, your device and browser, and your approximate location. We use this to see which pages are useful.

You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

How are ads personalised?

Ads on this site come from Google AdSense and help pay for it. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners do this. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Where Google shows a consent message, you can make your advertising choices there. You can also turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info/choices.

What do FPL Template's own servers collect?

  • Our servers receive your IP address and browser details with each request, because they need them to send you the page. These may appear in server logs, which we use only to keep the site working and secure.
  • When you make a Compare set, or an AI app calls our MCP server, we count requests per IP address to limit abuse. Each count is held in memory for about a minute.
  • Popular compare sets are counted from the Players in each Compare set. We don't store who made it.
  • Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers it, so Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details.
  • Web fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address.

Do you store data about FPL Managers?

Only for the Top 10k. We store each of those Managers' FPL entry id and Squad, taken from Fantasy Premier League's public data, to work out what the Top 10k own. We don't store their names, and the site only shows totals across all of them. To object, send us your entry id.

Who else receives this data, and for how long?

Google and Cloudflare receive the data described above and may process it outside the UK. How long they keep it is set by Google's privacy policy and your Google settings, and by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't sell your data, and we have no accounts or payment details to share. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to reply.

What are your rights?

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict how it is used. We rely on your consent for personalised ads, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our legitimate interest in running, securing, and improving the site for everything else.

To use these rights, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
